Privacy Policy

Summary: Fortalia works without an account. Your health data is stored only on your phone. We do not sell data, do not use health data for advertising and do not use third-party tracking tools.

1. Who we are

The Fortalia app is provided by COOLPYBARA WORLD LTDA (CNPJ 69.946.611/0001-23), Rua Rio Grande do Norte, 1435, Sala 708/3564, Savassi, Belo Horizonte, MG, CEP 30130-138, Brasil. Contact: contato@fortalia.app.

2. Data you record and where it is stored

To build your plan and reminders, the app asks for or lets you record: name (optional), sex, year of birth, height, weight and goals, activity level, goals, symptoms, workout and meal routine; medications (generic name, optional brand name, prescribed dose, times), logged doses, injection sites, side effects and supply; food, workouts and progress.

This data — including health data, treated as sensitive under the GDPR and Brazil’s LGPD — is stored only on your device. We have no access to it. If you enable system backups (iCloud or Google), a copy may be kept by Apple or Google according to their settings and policies.

3. Data that leaves your device

  • Subscriptions: payments are processed by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. We use RevenueCat, Inc. (USA) to check your subscription status; it receives an anonymous identifier and purchase data, never health data.
  • Barcodes: when you scan a product, only the barcode number is sent to Open Food Facts (a public food database, France) to retrieve nutrition facts.
  • Reminders: they are local notifications created on your device; nothing is sent to servers.

We do not use advertising or behavioral analytics, and we do not sell or share data with third parties for marketing.

4. Legal basis

Health data is processed on your device, with your consent, to help you organize your treatment and habits (GDPR art. 9(2)(a); LGPD art. 11, I). Minimal subscription data is processed to perform the contract.

5. Your rights and control

Because the data stays with you, you can view, correct and delete it in the app (Settings › Delete all my data). Uninstalling the app also removes the data from the device. For questions, or to exercise your rights before your data protection authority, write to contato@fortalia.app.

6. Minors

Fortalia is intended for adults 18 and over and must not be used by minors.

7. Security and retention

Your data is protected by your device’s security; we recommend using a screen lock. It remains until you delete it or uninstall the app.

8. International transfers

The minimal data described in section 3 may be processed in the United States (RevenueCat, Apple, Google) and the European Union (Open Food Facts), with the safeguards required by applicable law.

If this policy changes, we will let you know in the app and update the date below.
